Naturally machine washable and powered by our expertise

If you need some colorful, sustainable and washable wool fabrics, then you are in the right place.

Our oustanding Eco-Washable fabrics are the latest result of our constant research to come up with cool and green innovations in the world of wool. This is where we are focusing most of our investments, looking closely at the raw materials we use in order to make the best of it. Our in-house R&D department, working closely with the raw material managers, made it to devise exclusively-developed weavings and special finishing processes that make these fabrics washable, without using chemicals and fully respecting the environment and our sustainable DNA.

Eco-Washable fabrics are part of our exclusive Manteco Performance Project.

Eco-Washable fabrics are part of our exclusive Manteco Performance Project.

We are strongly committed in creating performance without using chemicals, this is where our Manteco Performance Project comes from. Creating performing qualities usually requires the use of damaging materials, such as elastam, or polluting chemicals, thus giving life to non-recyclable yarns and fabrics, which are extremely dangerous for the environment

The fabrics stemming from our Manteco Performance Project – MPP – boast biodegradability and great features, thanks to the way we value the natural characteristics of animal and cellulosic fibers, maximising them by engineering innovative yarns, special constructions and advanced finishing processes.

The colors of these fabrics are created through our exclusive Recype® process, without using dyes or chemicals

The colors of these fabrics are created through our exclusive Recype® process, without using dyes or chemicals

When it comes to creating colors in wool recycling, no dye is needed for our company, since pre- and post-consumer garments come already dyed from their former life. Through the Recype® process, our artisans of the raw material department manage to devise new wool colors just by mixing different fibers and shades of colors, developing actual ‘recipes’ of no-dye colors that are archived and reproduced over time. Thanks to this technique, in more than 80 years in the field of wool recycling, we have developed our Infinity Color Collection, which is composed of more than 1000 MWool Recycled colors.
